Emergency Travel Document
An Emergency Certificate is a one-way travel document which authorizes an Indian citizen to enter India and is issued to individuals who have lost their passports or their passports have been stolen or damaged and to whom new passports cannot be issued.
This document is issued primarily with the objective of ensuring the applicant’s return to India in an emergency.

Police Clearance Certificate
Issuance of Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) by this Embassy is subject to receipt of fresh Police Verification Report from authorities concerned.
PCC may be applied online through link https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in. Printed out forms with two photographs may be submitted to this Embassy along with relevant fees.
Copy of residence permit/ valid Visa as proof of legal stay also to be submitted.
Important: Applicants may please note that if applying for PCC with details other than those mentioned on their existing passport, they should first seek reissue of the passport with changed/current particulars. It may also be noted that only after re-issue of the passport with changed/current particulars, the PCC application against such reissued passport will be processed further for issue of PCC.
Surrender of Passport
The application for surrender of Indian passport is to be filled online by visiting the link: http://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/ and submit the filled up and signed form along with the following documents at the Embassy:
- Two passport size photographs (2 inches x 2 inches)
- Original Indian passport
- Copy of Indian Passport
- Copy of Icelandic/foreign national passport
- Copy of parents passport in case of minor
- Copy of Icelandic/foreign national citizenship certificate
- Copy of Indian Court Decree in case of adoption
Once the application for surrender of passport is accepted, the applicable fees are to be paid by means of bank transfer. The bank account information will be given by the Embassy after submission of all documents and application forms.
NOC for issuance of Passport for Spouse / Children in India
To apply for new passport for children / wife in India:
You are required to send a No Objection (NOC) affidavit to apply for new passport for children and wife in India. The following documents are required for the same:
- Personal presence of the father /mother/ husband making the NOC affidavit.
- Valid passport in original and 2 photocopies (first / last and valid visa page).
- Sworn Affidavit in the prescribed format along with a photocopy. (This document has to be signed in the presence of the Consular Officer).
- In case of minor born in India, copy of the birth certificate in English has to be produced.
- Old passport copy of the minor, in case passport is being renewed.
- Spouse name has to be endorsed for giving NOC to new/renew passport of the other spouse or children.

Other Miscellaneous Services
Applicants desiring any other Miscellaneous passport services are required to fill out the necessary form for Miscellaneous Services Application Form and submit their passports along with photocopies of their Residence Permit/Identity Card or any other proof of their lawful residence in the jurisdiction of the Embassy.
