The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organising theÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â 4thÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â edition of the Global Exhibition on Services (GES) fromÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â 15 ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 18Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â May 2018Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â at theÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â The objective of the Global Exhibition is to enhance trade services between India and the rest of the world.
The first edition of GES 2015 was inaugurated by HonÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The subsequent editions were inaugurated by the then President of India in 2016 and 2017. GES 2017 was a huge success with participation from over 573 companies from 71 countries (including India) and more than 5000 structured meetings.
GES 2018 would showcase over 20 services sectors and is expected to see the participation from over 100 countries. The focusÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â sectors includeÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â banking & financial services, education, energy services, environmental services, exhibition & event services, facility management, healthcare, IT & telecom, logistics, media & entertainment, next gen cities, printing & publishing, professional services, railway services, retail & e-commerce, skills, space, sports services, starts-ups/SME, tourism & hospitality and wellness.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â GES will provide an ideal platform to build trade linkages & business tie-ups.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â TheÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â post show report of GES 2017 for reference is attached.
